# Batch create members

Add role members with custom permissions in bulk

## Prerequisites

To call the collaborator-related APIs, you need to ensure that Base has enabled advanced permissions and set custom roles. You can enable advanced permissions through the [Update Base Metadata](https://open.feishu.cn/document/uAjLw4CM/ukTMukTMukTM/reference/bitable-v1/app/update) API and set custom roles through the [Create Custom Role](https://open.feishu.cn/document/uAjLw4CM/ukTMukTMukTM/reference/bitable-v1/app-role/create) API.
